We had such a wonderful stay at Les Capucines in Le Fayet. Our family of 4 went for the excellent skiing in nearby St Gervais les Bain, but is an excellent year round place to visit with loads of hikes and cycle routes. The apartment truly has everything you could possibly need to feel completely self-sufficient – it’s thoughtfully equipped and feels like a real home away from home.

Everything was immaculately clean and the spacious bathroom was a real highlight – modern, comfortable and perfect after a long day exploring.

The location is ideal, especially with how accessible the train is. We were able to visit Annecy and Chamonix so easily, which made the whole trip feel effortless and stress-free. There are also some lovely places to eat nearby, and we especially loved the fantastic boulangerie in Le Fayet – perfect for fresh pastries in morning.

The thermal baths are absolutely worth a visit for a relaxing day, and getting the cable car is incredibly easy, opening up even more opportunities to explore the stunning surroundings.

A special mention to Sara and Steve, the hosts, who were amazing from start to finish – nothing was ever too much trouble, and they really made our stay feel extra special.

Overall, a brilliant stay in a beautiful part of the world. We’d come back in a heartbeat!
